Kathmandu Metropolis: Balen still leading; Sthapit following
KATHMANDU: The counting of votes is underway in Kathmandu Metropolitan City. According to the latest results, independent candidate Balen Shah has maintained his lead with 14,458 votes. His closest rival CPN-UML’s Keshav Sthapit has got 7,852 votes as of Wednesday morning. Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate Sirjana Singh got 6,900 votes. Sthapit who is following Balen is trailing behind with 6,606 votes.
