Nepal sees 55 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours
KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 55 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Thursday. Out of the confirmed cases, 36 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 19 through the Antigen method. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,698 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 1,532 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,166 through the Antigen method. Currently, there are 280 active cases in the country as 17 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
