NHRC urged to not close office in Khotang
KATHMANDU: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has been urged not to close its office in Khotang district. A team led by Mayor of Rupakot Majhuwagadhi, Tirtharaj Bhattarai, met NHRC Chairman Tap Bahadur Magar on Sunday and made such a request. The team submitted a memorandum, reaching the central office of NHRC. In response, NHRC Chairman Magar informed that they had not planned to remove its office from Khotang.
