Two injured in avalanche in Mustang

KATHMANDU: Two persons of Kobang have broken their legs while escaping when an avalanche fell from Tukuche or Manapathi Mountain of Mustang on Sunday.
The avalanche that fell for about 30 minutes caused the locals to fearfully run for their lives, ensuing a ruckus. Locals in Kowang, Larjung and Naurikot areas haphazardly fled due to fear of the avalanche.
A teacher and student of local Janadarsha Amarsingh High School sustained leg injuries while escaping the snow slide. Students and teaches ran away from the classroom after the snow slide began falling while the class was underway.
