Two killed as pipe explodes in Dudhkoshi hydro project

SOLUKHUMBU: Two workers have died and the other one sustained injury after a pipe laid down in the Dudhkoshi hydroelectricity project exploded.
The pipe had exploded during testing on Saturday at the 86-megawatt Dudhkoshi hydroelectricity project based at Thulung Dudhkoshi rural municipality-3.
The decease have been identified as Suwas Raj Regmi of Achham and Arjun Thapa, 29, of Kavre, said Chief District Officer Ganesh Bikram Shahi.
The injured is undergoing treatment at Grande International Hospital, said Shahi.
