KATHMANDU: India has accepted the nomination of Dr. Shanker Sharma as Nepal’s Ambassador to New Delhi.
India has accepted Sharma’s agreemo and communicated it to the Nepal government.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari will officially appoint him as the ambassador to India, a government source said.
Sharma, is a former vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission, an economist and former ambassador to the United States, was recommended by the government as its ambassador to India.
