NC finalizes mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates in eight municipalities in Kathmandu
KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has finalized the candidates for mayor and deputy mayor in eight municipalities of Kathmandu for the May 13 local level elections. NC’s Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party has decided to appoint Upendra Karki as the mayoral candidate of Kageshwari Manohara Municipality. Similarly, Deepak Risal has been selected as the mayoral candidate of Gokarneshwor municipality. Shanti Nepal has been picked for the post of Deputy Mayor in Gorkarneshwor.
