123,400 candidates file nominations for May 13 local polls
KATHMANDU: One lakh and fifty thousand candidates have filed their candidacies in the local level elections to be held on May 13. According to the latest updates provided by the Election Commission on Monday night, 123,400 candidates filed their candidatures in 753 local units across the country. The number is likely to go up as the entry of the candidates is still going on. In the May 13 local level elections, a total of 35,221 representatives will be elected.
