Deposits in commercial banks declined by Rs 10 billion in one week
KATHMANDU: Deposit collection by commercial banks has declined alarmingly last week. The deposits in commercial banks declined by Rs 10 billion in a single week. According to Nepal Banker’s Association, the deposits of commercial banks came down to Rs 4367 billion from Rs 4377 billion during the period from April 15 to April 22. Similarly, the credit flow of banks has also declined during this period. The credit flow of these banks has decreased by one billion rupees during this period.
