Nepal sees 50 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours
KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 50 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday. Out of the confirmed cases, 35 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 15 through the Antigen method. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,814 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 1,467 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,347 through the Antigen method. Currently, there are 297 active cases in the country as 19 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
